The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has reacted to the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Tinubu was declared winner of the APC presidential primary after he polled 1271 votes to beat his closest rival, Rotimi Amaechi and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, who polled 316 and 235, respectively.
In a statement by Ohanaeze Secretary-General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, he said the refusal of the leading political parties to give presidential ticket to the South-East would come with consequences.
